Consider a Career with the Eastern Pike Regional Police Department
Eligibility

  • United States Citizen
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
  • Be at least 21 years of age upon date of hire
  • Must have vision in either eye corrected to 20/20
  • Meet all M.P.O.E.T.C. required standards
  • Pass a physical and psychological test
  • Pass a background investigation

    Benefits

  • Starting Full-Time patrolman's salary is $36,000 annually
  • Annual Leave - up to 25 days
  • Sick Leave - 8 days annually can carry up to 45 days
  • Paid Personal Days - 2
  • Bereavement Leave - 1 to 3 days

  • Physical Fitness Requirements

    1. Sit-Ups - (One minute allowed) - 10 sit-ups
    2. Pull-Ups (One minute allowed) - 3 pull-ups
    3. Fifteen Minute Test - Run
    4. Weight Carry - Carry 100 pound weight in 20 seconds a distance of 25 yards.

    Applications may be picked up at the Eastern Pike Regional Police Department, Monday through Friday 8 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. or downloaded here.

    All applications must be returned to the Eastern Pike Regional Police Department, 10 Avenue I, Matamoras, Pa 18336.
